What's New?
Verifications Enhancement - Completed Assessment Page
There is obviously a lot of focus on developing the competency of your Employees, but it is also important to support the development of your Assessors. Many of our customers already have a robust Verifications process in place, but have reported that it is difficult to use and can take a long time to find the relevant information. Through working with a number of our customers, we have collated feedback on the Verifications process in order to inform an enhancement to the Completed Assessment page, which we hope will make a significant difference to your Verifiers and Assessors.
Moving to a Tabbed Format
The Completed Assessment page has now been split into multiple tabs, meaning you aren't required to scroll up and down the page as much, and should be able to find what you're looking for much easier.
We have also made the Employee Details section collapsible so that you can have more screen space to see more of the important details below.
The Details tab includes the high level details of the Assessment and the employee signature.
The Feedback tab includes the Overall Assessment Feedback input by the Assessor, as well as any notes which have been added to the Assessment.
The Evidence & Uploads tab includes a summary of all the Evidence files which have been attached to Criteria during the Assessment, any Assessment Documents which have already been uploaded, and the ability to upload more Assessment Documents.
Evidence included in this table can be expanded to show the Criteria they have been attached to and their associated Proficiency Ratings.
Where you were previously required to download all Evidence files in order to preview them, image type files can now be previewed full screen in your current window by clicking the image thumbnail.
The Criteria tab includes all the details of the Criteria which have been rated within the Assessment, sorted in the standard Unit -> Element -> Criteria hierarchy to make it easier to navigate.
Clicking the Proficiency Rating tiles above the table will filter the table to only show Criteria with the selected rating.
Clicking the Filter button will open a new filter sidebar, allowing you further control to filter the table to what is important to you. As filters are applied, the Filter button will show a count of the different fields which are being filtered, and will also allow you to clear the filters without the need for re-opening the sidebar.
If you would like to see more details of an individual Criteria, then you can click the Criteria name to open the Criteria Details modal. This modal is broken down into multiple tabs to show:
High level details for this Assessment
Attached Evidence
Conditions (for those who use conditions)
History of the Criteria ratings during the Competency Cycle
The Verification Form
We have updated the Verification Form in several ways in order to make it more usable. Moving it to the top of the page means that it is easier to see the information below the tabs while you have the form open.
It now uses much wider fields for displaying and entering feedback. The Form can be opened in full screen by clicking the maximise button on the top-right, if you want more space on the page to enter some feedback.
You can now see multiple Verification Statements at once, allowing you to quickly and easily jump between statements as you review the Assessment.
The Verification Tab
Once the Verification has been completed, the Verification tab will present the details of the Verification to the following users:
- All Verifiers and TOC Admins
- The Assessor of the Assessment
- The user who completed the Assessment (this could be a different user to the Assessor if your company has the feature to allow different users to complete an Assessment started by someone else)
The user(s) who Assessed and/or completed the Assessment will also receive a notification to inform them that the Assessment has been verified. They will then have the opportunity to review the feedback, record whether they agree or disagree with the Verification result, and provide some of their own comments in response to the Verifier.
Once the Assessor Response has been completed, the Verifier will receive a notification for the response, and the Assessor Response section will include a "Verification Feedback Notes" field will be included so that the Assessor and Verifier can add further comments related to the Verification, which should not be visible to the Employee or other Assessors.
Options Button
The 'Employee Profile' button in the top right corner of the page includes a drop-down to allow for other actions.
When viewing the page as a Verifier or TOC Admin, you will see the following options
When viewing the page as an Assessor, you will see the following options
And as a Manager, you will see these options
