What's New?
Criteria Rating Page
We've made some changes to the look and feel of the Criteria Rating page to improve the clarity of information, and enhance the usability of the page:
- Rating labels and banners - When a criteria has been rated, a colour coded rating label will be displayed on the criteria card, and a colour coded banner will be displayed on the left hand side of the card.
- Risk level label - So as to differentiate it from the rating colour coding, the risk level of the criteria will now be displayed as a text label on the criteria cards.
- Attached evidence icon - Criteria cards will now display a paperclip icon when an evidence file is uploaded to them.
- 3 dot Options menu - A 3 dot button in the top right hand corner of the page will open the new Options menu, which will include the following action buttons:
- Select Additional Criteria - This will take you straight back to the Criteria Selection page.
- Pause Assessment - This will pause the assessment and return you to the main Dashboard.
- Complete Assessment - This will take you to the Assessment Completion page.
- Bottom banner - This bottom banner will always be displayed on the Criteria Rating page, and includes the following action buttons for easy access:
- Assessment Feedback - Opens the Assessment Feedback field. Allowing you to add to this without the need to jump forwards and backwards to the Assessment Completion page.
- Add Evidence - Allows you to add one or more evidence files to multiple criteria in one action.
- Task Timer - New position of the task timer, with some improvements to functionality as mentioned in the section below.
We have also improved the filtering capabilities of the Criteria Rating page:
- Quick filters - You will now see 4 quick filter buttons across the top of the page:
- All - Includes criteria in any state of rating (i.e. Complete / Not Started / Not Rated).
- Complete - Only includes criteria which have been rated.
- Not Started - Only includes criteria which have not been rated and do not have any evidence or reason for rating applied.
- Not Rated - Only includes criteria which have not been rated, but do have some evidence or reason for rating applied.
- Additional filters - A filter button in the top right corner of the page will open a modal with more options for filtering the criteria on the page. Please note that any filter applied by the quick filters will take precedence over these additional filters.
Task Timer
We recognise that the task timer has been a frustration for many users, but hope that is no longer the case with this change. The task timer will no longer stop running while navigating around the assessment flow. This includes all of the following pages:
- Assessment Set-up page
- Criteria Selection page
- Assessment Conditions page
- Individual Criteria Rating page
The task timer will only stop via the following actions:
- Manually stopped by the user.
- When pausing the assessment
- When moving to the Assessment Completion page
Assessment Flow
The Assessment set-up pages have been split out so anyone using the Conditions will now see them on their own page.
In a move towards newer design styles, the Next buttons have been moved to the top right of the page.
We have added a Resume button to the Assessment set-up pages for ongoing assessments, allowing you to jump back to the Criteria Rating page with a single button press.
When opening a paused assessment from the dashboard or employee profile, you will now be taken straight to the Criteria Rating page.
Any single select fields will automatically close on selection, rather than you needing to press the save button as well.
Employee Details
The recent web release introduced the ability to create and assign Job Titles to your employees, so we have updated the Employee Profile page to bring that change to the Android app:
- The employee's Company Roles are now displayed under a 'Company Role' heading.
- Job Title will be displayed in the employee details section when one has been assigned to the employee.
Bug Fixes
Bug: Zendesk Ref: 118145 - EDS: Android 1.9.0 Criteria issue (missing feature to quick filter by 'Not rated). User was blocked from completing an assessment due to 1 or more criteria having evidence attached, but no proficiency rating. It was difficult to find the criteria which were blocking the assessment from being completed.
Fix: With the recent updates to the Criteria Rating page, users are now able to use quick filters to filter the criteria list down to see any criteria with the 'Not Rated' status.
Coming Soon
We will be Improving the Dashboard and Employee Search pages.
