v3.27.0 Release Highlights
This release includes:
- Job Titles
- LMS integration enhancement
- Some bug fixes
What's New?
Job Titles
Most people's jobs require them to perform multiple roles, meaning that it can be difficult to tell what a user's job is in EDS when they have multiple Company Roles applied. We have now introduced Job Titles to EDS.
Admin users will be able to create, edit and archive Job Titles within the Job Title Management page.
Once created by the Admins, the available Job Titles can then be applied to users via the 'Employee Details' section of the Employee Profile Create/Edit page.
When a Job Title is assigned to a user, it will display below their Employee Reference on their Employee Profile page.
LMS Integration Enhancement
Anyone using the E-Learning feature in EDS to link to their LMS, will now see a "Go to LMS" button, which will take you directly to your integrated LMS.
Users of Docebo should be aware that the link from the "Go to LMS" button will take users to different pages within the LMS depending on their access permissions in Docebo. For example, an employee who only has access to their own learning courses will be taken directly to their Learner Homepage, whereas a manager with access to the learning progress of their team will be taken to a dashboard page.
Bug Fixes
Bug: #119528 - Inability to set authority to work to active unless the safety critical level to active, while the feature flag to decouple the 2 statuses was enabled.
Fix: We found that the modal was ignoring the feature flag after the update to the Employee Profile in v3.22.0. We have updated this so that the feature flag is being considered and should allow users to set the authority to work and safety critical levels independently.
Bug: #119590 - Page error when viewing Archived Training and the ArchivedByUser is a deleted user in EDS.
Fix: This will now display "Deleted User" for the name of the ArchivedByUser so as not to cause a page load error.
